Bevallen met Elsa

The brief: Elsa Oude Stegge is a doula and birth educator in Deventer. Her existing site was functional but generic. She needed something personal and trustworthy, where a pregnant woman feels understood on her first visit.

The approach: Competitor research showed most Dutch doulas use soft pinks, so I developed a more grounded direction: olive green, terracotta and warm cream, rooted in the landscape around Deventer. Overlapping circles became the unifying shape, from her portrait to the section titles. Four pages in Newsreader and DM Sans, with every contact button opening a form overlay.

The result: Launched in June 2026 at bevallenmetelsa.nl, with a new client enquiry on launch day. In her words: "The website finally feels like me!". Early September she contacted me with seven bookings waiting for her after her holidays.
