Hidee — a landing page for an app that protects children's identity online
Just shipped hidee.app, built entirely in Framer.
The project: Hidee is a mobile app for parents who want to share family moments without exposing their kids. It applies identity-protecting AR masks that cover the markers that actually make a child recognizable — eyebrows, nose, upper lip, the shape and color of the eyes — while keeping the expression that made the moment worth posting. Everything runs on-device: no cloud, no uploads, no facial data stored. Once a file is exported, the mask is baked in; it isn't a layer someone can peel off later.
The challenge on the site side was tone. Child safety is a heavy subject, and it would have been easy to make something that feels like a warning label. We wanted the opposite: a page that feels like a creative tool, not a fear campaign. So the copy leads with "Create safely, share freely," and the layout gives as much room to the editor features as it does to the privacy story.
A few things we enjoyed building:
A looping feature marquee that carries the six core claims without eating vertical space
An interactive "How Hidee protects identity" section that breaks the mask down marker by marker, so the privacy logic is shown instead of explained
A phone-frame carousel mixing stills and video to show the app in motion
Fully responsive, with scroll-triggered reveals kept subtle enough to not fight the content
The site is currently running an early access waitlist while the app finishes development.
