Ty's Reef

Ty's Reef is the site for the Ty Hellriegel Peregrine Foundation, a memorial reef built from the boat of an artist and sailor, and a foundation that inspires kids through the ocean. We designed it to feel like a keepsake: scattered polaroids of Ty over a topographic chart background, warm serif type, and a hand-drawn wave divider. Beyond the story, the site handles the foundation's real work, with donations, an events page, a shop, and a press archive marking 25 years of the reef.
