Bonehead is a Birmingham-based fried chicken restaurant and craft beer venue with a bold personality inspired by rock, punk, and alternative culture. The website combines striking visuals with an easy-to-navigate user experience, allowing customers to explore menus, merchandise, opening hours, and venue information. Built in Framer, the site balances strong brand storytelling with practical functionality, helping visitors quickly discover what Bonehead offers while reinforcing the restaurant's distinctive identity.

Key Features & Functionality

Custom CMS Collections – Structured CMS collections were created to manage menu items, venue content, news, and brand updates, allowing the Bonehead team to easily maintain and update content without developer support.
Scroll Animations – Subtle scroll-triggered animations were implemented throughout the site to enhance engagement, guide users through content, and reinforce the brand's energetic personality without compromising performance.
Responsive Components – A fully responsive component system was built in Framer, ensuring a consistent user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices while reducing maintenance overhead.
Shopify Integration via Framer Commerce – Shopify was integrated through Framer Commerce to power the online merchandise store, enabling seamless product management, inventory control, and a streamlined checkout experience.
Optimised Media – Images and media assets were optimised for performance, helping to minimise load times, improve Core Web Vitals, and deliver a fast browsing experience across all devices and connection speeds.
