About Civil Grid Engine

Civil Grid Engine is a configurable Gregorian month grid for Framer projects that need accurate dates, deliberate week structure, and readable calendar cells. Choose a year, month, and week origin from Monday through Sunday. Use natural month rows or a fixed six-row layout, show or hide adjacent-month dates, and decide whether to display weekday labels and ISO week numbers. Set the locale for month, weekday, and date labels. Optional controls cover the month title, weekend treatment, today indicator, cell gap, radius, border, minimum height, typography, and palette. The grid uses civil Gregorian arithmetic for leap years, month lengths, weekday alignment, and dates that cross month or year boundaries. For example, changing the displayed month to January 2027 can show the final days of December 2026 in the leading cells. Date formatting is separate from grid arithmetic. The today highlight is optional and is suppressed by Framer’s static renderer. The component renders a semantic table with weekday column labels, date labels, and ISO week row labels when enabled. Hidden adjacent dates remain blank cells rather than misleading dates. It makes no network requests, loads no remote scripts, and includes no analytics. Use it for editorial calendars, resource pages, planning dashboards, date-system explainers, and print-aware calendar layouts. It is a display component: it does not add month-navigation buttons, store events, or provide a booking workflow. Select the desired year and month in Framer’s property panel. The live preview shows February 2027 with a Monday-first natural grid.
