Turn any section into a playful, interactive surface. As visitors move their cursor — or finger, on touch devices — a trail of footprints appears along the path, alternating left and right like real tracks, rotating to face the direction of travel, and fading softly over time.

Pick an animal from the dropdown and you're done — no files to prepare, no SVG knowledge required. Four prints are built in: cat, dog, horse, and bird. Prefer your own shape? Drop any single-color SVG into the optional upload field and it takes over instantly.

Built for real projects: touch support out of the box, a randomness control so tracks never look mechanical, smooth performance during fast movement, and full support for reduced-motion accessibility preferences.

Choose your animal:

• Cat — soft rounded paw

• Dog — paw with claws

• Horse — classic horseshoe

• Bird — three-toed track

• Or upload your own SVG shape

What you can control:

• Animal preset (or custom SVG upload)

• Stride (spacing between prints) and left/right spread

Setup — important: Place the component as a full-width, full-height layer over the section you want it to react on, and give it the highest z-index (bring it to the front, above your other layers). The trail only appears where the cursor actually moves over this layer, so if another element sits on top of it, the footprints won't show. The layer is click-through (it won't block buttons or links beneath it), so it's safe to keep on top
