About EmberText
EmberText is a scroll-pinned text reveal component for Framer where each block of copy approaches from a distance, holds at the front, then burns away glyph by glyph, not a fade, not a typewriter, not a simple blur reveal.
Most scroll text reveal components brighten, unblur, or slide words into view. EmberText scales text in from simulated depth like it's approaching the viewer, then dissolves it outward from a radial ignition point with chromatic fringe glow and film grain.
WHAT IT DOES
Add text blocks, one per scroll section. As the visitor scrolls, each block grows larger as it approaches, holds in focus, then ignites and burns away character by character, revealing the next block behind it.
KEY FEATURES
Glyph-by-glyph burn animation with radial ignition order, not left-to-right
Simulated depth-scroll, text scales as if approaching the viewer
Chromatic RGB fringe glow on every character, fully color-customizable
Procedurally generated film grain texture, no image assets required
Scroll-linked, frame-accurate timing tied directly to scroll position
Optional scroll hint and running section counter
Reduced-motion fallback renders a clean static stack automatically
Adjustable scroll length per section for pacing control
Full typography and color controls
Zero third-party dependencies, single self-contained code component
WHY IT WORKS
Scroll text reveal is a saturated category, nearly every version fades or brightens words. EmberText is built around consumption instead of appearance, text arrives, holds, then is destroyed to make way for the next line.
PERFECT FOR
Manifesto pages, brand storytelling sections, agency case studies, and any Framer site that wants scroll-driven text with real cinematic weight.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
A single drop-in code component. Add your text sections and tune scroll length, glow colors, grain, and typography through property controls.
Drop it in, add your copy, and let it burn.
