About Lens Cursor
About Lens Cursor
A cursor made of glass. It carries a live copy of your section, magnifies around the exact point under the pointer, compresses the image again at the rim the way a real lens does, and bends it with a turbulence refraction. Six modes — Glass, Magnify, Invert, Blur, Chromatic and Minimal — with automatic detection of links, buttons, images and any selector you add, a follow lag you set, and a clean switch-off on touch.
Features
• Real optics: the point under the cursor stays under the cursor, magnified.
• A compressed rim, not a clip-path circle.
• Six modes: Glass, Magnify, Invert, Blur, Chromatic, Minimal.
• Single-pass chromatic split and a turbulence refraction, both inline SVG.
• Detects links, buttons, inputs, images, video and any selector you name.
• Grows — or shrinks — over what it finds, with the lag you choose.
• Hides the native cursor, or leaves it alone.
• Inert copies: no duplicate ids, no extra tab stops, no extra screen-reader text.
• Switches itself off completely on a coarse pointer.
• Snaps into place instead of trailing under reduced motion.
• One standalone React + TypeScript file.
• 18 controls in the Framer properties panel
• Respects prefers-reduced-motion
• Renders correctly on the Framer canvas and in export
