MediaTicker

Image Ticker Pro transforms a traditional image slider into a responsive, interactive media stream. Instead of static thumbnails, each item in the ticker can contain layered content — including images, metadata, and hover-triggered video playback.

At its core, the component functions as a directional media ticker. You can upload multiple images, assign each item a title, description, and supporting metadata, and control how they flow across the screen — vertically or horizontally.

Each image supports an optional video file. When a user hovers over a specific image while the ticker is in motion, the associated video plays seamlessly in place. Simultaneously, the item’s description can appear in a configurable position (side panel or custom placement).

The component includes a settings panel that allows you to:

• Define ticker direction (Left, Right, Up, Down)

• Toggle description visibility on hover

• Control description placement

• Enable or disable video playback on hover

This component is ideal for creators who want movment, storytelling, and interaction within a single visual strip.How It Works

1. Add Media Items

Upload your images into the component. Each image becomes an individual ticker item.

For every item, you can configure:

• Title

• Description

• Meta information (category, year, tag, client, etc.)

• Optional hover video

2. Configure Ticker Behavior

From the settings panel, you can:

• Set scroll direction:

  • Left

  • Right

  • Up

  • Down

• Enable or disable description display

• Adjust where the description appears

• Enable or disable hover-based video playback

3. Hover Interaction

When a user hovers over an item:

• The ticker continues its motion

• The assigned video begins playback (if uploaded)

• The description panel appears (if enabled)

This creates a layered interaction system:Motion → Hover → Video → Context
