Particle Image Swirl

Turn any image into a living particle field. Thousands of image-sampled particles drift on a flow field, swirl apart on an automatic cycle, then snap back to reform the picture — with cursor-drag interaction throughout.

Every behavior is a property control (25 total): image + URL override, fit, particle count / size / shape / opacity / blend mode, speed, auto-cycle + duration, disperse, swirl, reassemble spring, flow scale + force, damping, lifespan, cursor force + radius, background, radius, max DPR, pause, and reduced-motion calm mode.

Built for production: DPR capping, offscreen auto-pause, transparency-aware sampling (logos work), CORS-safe procedural fallback (never renders empty), still frame for reduced-motion users, and a static fallback for thumbnails/SEO. Zero dependencies, responsive at any frame size.
