Zoetrope

Zoetrope wraps your images around a spinning drum and puts a slit mask in front of it, the way the old optical toy worked. Drag to spin it, let go and it coasts on real momentum, then eases back into its own idle rhythm. Drop images into a list and the drum builds itself — the radius is solved from the panel size and the number of images, so it stays seamless at any count. Tune speed, drag, friction, panel size, depth and corner radius; set the slit width, pitch and color, or switch the slits off for a clean 3D carousel. Arrow keys step it panel by panel, it pauses off-screen and sleeps when still, respects reduced motion, and shows a frozen frame on the canvas.
