SpecStream

Fill a CMS collection with live web data. Ask the way you'd say it, "coffee shops in Austin with their website and Google rating", "food banks in Texas with their annual revenue", and SpecStream reads it from the live web: maps, registries, government systems, directories and each business's own website.

Before anything runs you see how SpecStream read the request and the most it can cost. Approve up to your maximum, pick the fields and rename them, and the results sync in as items. Every item has a Source link to the page it was read from and a Read on date, so a directory or comparison page can show where each fact came from.

Sync from the CMS brings the same results in again at no cost. Items update instead of duplicating, and ones no longer in the results are removed.

Needs a SpecStream account: new accounts get $10 of work, no card. You pay only for results that match, from 10¢ each, and a search that finds nothing is free. Your API key stays in your browser; collaborators on the project don't see it.
