About Dott Planner
Dott — Calm Waitlist Template for Consumer Apps
Most launch pages shout. Dott gets quieter as you scroll.
Built for pre-launch consumer apps — productivity, focus, habit, journaling, wellness — where the promise is less noise. The centrepiece is a to-do list that completes itself as you scroll: tasks strike through one by one, the counter falls to "All clear", and the day closes on a single dot.
INSIDE — One long scroll page plus Privacy, Terms and a custom 404 on a shared layout template. Video hero, animated stat bars, a sticky four-card feature stack, a scroll-driven scene panel, CMS-driven FAQ and principles, and a footer that slides up over a giant outro tagline.
SETUP — Remix, swap the media, edit two CMS collections, set your tasks in the Today List panel, point the CTAs, connect the form. No code: the gooey nav, task list, stat bars and self-drawing glyphs are all editable through property controls.
SYSTEM — Switzer plus one italic serif accent word. Six colour styles, ten text styles, one radius scale, one easing curve, zero shadows. Three breakpoints genuinely built. Lighthouse mobile: 86 performance, 98 accessibility, 100 best practices, 100 SEO. Reduced motion fully supported.
BEST FOR — Waitlists, beta signups, indie app launches, single-product stories. Not for multi-product sites, agencies needing case studies, or e-commerce.
LIMITATIONS — Photography and video are placeholders (licensed stock and AI-generated for the demo); replace them before launch and don't assume commercial rights. Copy is fictional and written to be replaced. The form works but needs connecting to your provider. Tasks live in component controls, not the CMS. Feature cards use light WebGL gradients with static fallbacks. No blog, pricing or docs pages — this is a focused launch page, not a full marketing site.
