About Darkroom Photo
Your darkroom, online. A gallery-first portfolio for photographers.
Darkroom is a free photography portfolio template for night, film and flash photographers. Your photos hang on a curved 3D wall, seen through a camera viewfinder. The demo is by a fictional photographer, Ines Moreau.
Move the pointer and the wall sways after it, bending and blurring with the speed. Point at a photo and every frame from the same series lights up while the rest goes dark, and the caption shows the series name and its photo count. Click a photo and it flies to the centre; click again or press Escape to close it. A viewfinder overlay frames every page with a REC light, a running timecode, a live clock, an exposure scale, a histogram and camera readouts.
The look: black night, one signal red, set in IBM Plex Mono.
