GAZE

GAZE is a dark portfolio template for visual artists — photographers, painters, media and installation artists. It is built around one idea: let the images do the talking.

Add a work once in the CMS and it appears in the Works index, gets its own page and can be featured on Home. Exhibitions work the same way: each one has a full-screen opening, the rooms, the dates and the venue, and the list is grouped by year.

Included

• Home with an opening that brings the hero photo into focus, a large name over the image, a statement that appears word by word, four series to open one by one, featured works and exhibitions

• Works index with series and a page for every work: large photo, details, more views and a link to the next work

• Exhibitions by year and a page for every exhibition

• Info with a statement, milestones and recognition, Contact with an enquiry form, Privacy and a custom 404

• A full-screen blue menu, a custom cursor that says LOOK over photos, and a colour shift that follows the mouse on key photos

• Desktop, tablet and phone layouts; shared header and footer

• A short setup guide on the Home page canvas of your copy

Before you launch

The artist, works, exhibitions, venues and press are fictional placeholders, and the photos are AI-generated. Replace them with your own. The enquiry form is a demo that sends nothing: add a destination in Framer's form settings and remove the demo note. The template has a dark theme only. Hosting and paid Framer plans are separate.

License and support

Free to use under Framer's Community Terms: use it for your own or a client's site and change anything. Do not resell or redistribute it as a template.

Privacy

The preview sends no form data and is hosted by Framer. Support emails are used only to answer you and kept only as long as needed.
