Handoff UX

About Handoff UX

Handoff is a free portfolio for UX, UI and product designers who are looking for a job. It is laid out like a design file: case studies sit in selected frames on a dot grid, results are drawn as red redlines, and every case study opens with a 30-second version for recruiters.

What you get

  • A remix link to the free Framer template (the demo is the same project).

  • Pages: Home, About, 7 example case studies from the CMS, and a 404 page.

  • Home: name, role, "open to roles" status, a Layers panel listing every case study, a 30-second card with Download CV, 4 featured case studies, how you work, and contact.

  • Case-study page: role, team, timeline, platform, the problem and three metrics, then Context, Research, Decisions and Result, up to 4 gallery screens and two more case studies.

  • About: bio, experience as a version history, skills, tools and education.

  • NDA switch: the case study shows a hatched "Under NDA" placeholder with an "Ask for a walkthrough" button, a red NDA badge, and no gallery.

  • Copy email on click (falls back to a mail app) and a contact form using Framer's form submissions.

  • Desktop, tablet and phone layouts (1440, 810, 390).

Good to know

  • The NDA switch only hides images on the page. Hidden images are still part of the site and can be downloaded, so leave Cover and Gallery empty for NDA projects (the field name says so).

  • The person, companies, metrics and UI screens are made up; the screens are generated mockups. The About photo is from Unsplash.

  • Each case study expects all three metrics.

  • The Download CV button links to a PDF you upload; it doesn't make one for you.

  • The CMS is one collection with 7 items. Framer's Free plan includes the CMS, but its item and collection limits change over time, so check framer.com/pricing before you add more case studies. A custom domain needs a paid site plan.
