Kerfa

Kerfa is a website template for architecture and interior practices.

Scrolling cuts the building open. A cutting plane moves down through a 3D museum one floor at a time, the cut faces drawn as hatched poché with an orange edge, while beside it the plan of each floor draws itself from the same model, so plan and model always agree. The title block changes sheet number as the cut passes each level, under a low late-afternoon sun.

Every page sits inside a drawing sheet with a title-block footer: projects are sheets, the process is a drawing set A-000 to A-500.

Limitations: your projects go in as images; changing the 3D building on the home page means editing the component code. It needs WebGL.
