About Latchkey

Latchkey is a free website template for small guesthouses, B&Bs and cabins that take bookings directly. Guests choose a room and dates and see the full price of their stay before they write, so you receive fewer "how much?" emails and more ready-to-confirm enquiries.

Why Latchkey

  • Instant stay quote: nights, high season, extra guests, weekly discount, cleaning fee and total, calculated as the guest types

  • Built-in stay rules: minimum and maximum nights, room capacity and blocked dates, with the next available run of nights suggested

  • Enquiries that arrive complete: the room, dates, guests and quoted total travel into the Enquire form automatically

  • A calm, warm design that lets your photos and rooms do the selling

What you get

  • The full Framer project: Home, a page for every room (CMS), Enquire and 404

  • 2 CMS collections: 6 sample rooms with rates, seasons, stay rules, blocked dates and photos, plus 6 guest reviews

  • Latchkey Quote and Latchkey Request code components

  • A working Framer form with sending, success and error states

  • Responsive desktop, tablet and phone layouts with an accessible phone menu

  • Satoshi and Geist Mono typography

Good to know

  • Hollin House is fictional; rooms, prices, reviews and dates are sample content. Photos from Unsplash

  • The quote is an estimate based on the rates you enter. It takes no payment, holds no room and does not sync with a calendar; blocked dates are a list you maintain

  • Room rates live in the CMS and in the Home quote; keep both in step when prices change

  • Enquiries use Framer's built-in form. Form limits depend on your Framer plan

  • One currency per site; taxes and city fees are shown as text

  • One room per quote. No multi-room booking, channel manager, payments or dark mode

  • Publishes free on a Framer subdomain; a custom domain needs a paid site plan
