Latenne

Latenne is a website template for wedding and portrait photographers, especially those who shoot film.

The home page opens in a darkroom. Under an amber safelight, a print lies in the developer tray and comes up as you scroll: the black border and shadows first, the highlights last, the way silver-gelatin paper really develops. It goes through the stop bath and fixer, the room light switches on, and the print is pegged on a drying line beside the others.

Behind the opening, the site is plain and spacious: print-white pages, one sans-serif, a mono face for frame numbers and captions, and one safelight accent.

• Packages, About, Enquiry (date-check form), and a 404: "This one did not develop."

Included: Stories and Packages CMS collections, buttons in three styles, navigation with a phone menu, form states, 10 colour and 11 text styles, and desktop, tablet and phone layouts. Change the three darkroom photos and captions without code.

Limitations: the darkroom needs WebGL; with reduced motion it shows a still. Replace the example photos with your own.
