Launchdial

Launchdial is a free pre-launch and waitlist template for startups, apps and hardware products that are not out yet.

The hero is a 3D retro television set that visitors can use. It switches itself on, then visitors turn the dial through five channels and flip the power switch, and one channel shows their place in the waitlist. You can put your own screens on each channel. Further down, a signup map shows every person on the list as a dot on a turning spiral, with your dot moving inward as you refer friends, next to a flip-board launch counter, a launch timeline and a technical drawing of the product.

It comes with 16 pages: Home, How it works, Specs, Timeline, Field notes, Field note, Backers, FAQ, About, Press kit, Join, Thanks, Contact, Privacy, Terms and 404. Three CMS collections are filled in: 6 field notes, 3 authors and 8 dispatches. The join and contact pages have working forms, and every page has tablet and phone layouts, SEO settings and a page transition.

Launchdial is free. The company Kelvane, its Skyset product and everyone in the demo are fictional.
