Lavacra

Lavacra is a website template for day spas, bathhouses, thermal baths and wellness retreats.

The home page opens on a spa pool seen from above: green stone floor, submerged steps, basalt stepping stones, floating frangipani and a travertine deck in a palm's shade. Moving the cursor sends real ripples through the water, and sunlight refracts into moving caustics on the pool floor. As visitors scroll, the day moves from late morning to candlelight, with tealights and a lantern coming on at dusk.

The rest of the site uses treatment-menu typography and quiet space: temperatures as large figures, prices set like a printed menu.

• Home: the pool with a live clock, the thermal circuit, treatment menu (CMS), a day at the spa, passes and prices

• Treatments grouped by category, and a page per treatment with the pool lit for its time of day

• Visit with a booking request form, and a 404 at candlelight

Included: a Treatments CMS, buttons in three styles, navigation with a phone drawer, form states, 9 colour and 14 text styles, and desktop, tablet and phone layouts.

Limitations: the pool is a code component and needs WebGL; its layout is fixed. Demo business and prices are invented.
