About Lookbook
Lookbook is a template for studios that shoot for fashion labels: campaigns, lookbooks, editorials and shop pictures. It also fits fashion photographers, stylists, creative directors and e-commerce photo studios. The whole site speaks one visual language, square pixels: the home page opens on white that falls away in squares to leave the studio name over the hero, and as you scroll the photo breaks into white squares again.
Pages:
Home: pixel intro, hero that breaks into squares, statement, a window with changing words, one shoot dealt into a grid, how a shoot runs, numbers, recent shoots, client names and quotes, questions
Shoots with a filter by type (CMS)
Shoot pages from the CMS in two layouts: full screen photo with the pictures one by one, or a contact sheet
What we make: four services with what is included and a starting price, five steps from brief to files
Studio, Brief us (form), 404
Motion and details:
Photos arrive in coarse pixels and sharpen in a few steps, one after another
A window in the middle of the screen runs pictures past while the words around it change
Eight pictures from one shoot start as a stack and deal themselves into a grid
Titles wipe in word by word; big studio names size themselves to the screen
Black pixels flood the screen around the studio name before the dark section
