Narthex

Narthex is a Framer template for interior architects, conservation studios and anyone who works on old buildings. Instead of a grid of thumbnails, it tells a story: one room, eight centuries, revealed as you scroll.

The home page opens on a full-screen hall, then a pinned timeline carries visitors from 1186 to today, with photographs, years and text that glide with the scroll. Statements light up word by word, a ring of rooms can be spun by hand, and a services list reveals a photo for each step.

Every page is ready for real studio work. Projects have their own pages with facts, a story, a drag-to-compare then-and-now slider, a gallery, a client quote and a link to the next project. There are pages for the practice, the studio and its team, a journal with full articles, and a contact page with a working enquiry form.

Making it yours is quick. Projects, notes and team members live in the CMS. Colour and type run through shared styles, so one change updates the whole site. The nav, mobile menu and footer sit in one shared layout, and every animated section has simple controls, including a Grade slider that keeps your own photos looking like one set. Fully responsive across desktop, tablet and phone.
