Most restaurant templates are a photograph and a phone number. Tavola is a small working system.

It knows what time it is. A live status line reads the restaurant's own opening hours out of the CMS and tells the visitor what is true right now: "Open now · kitchen until 23:00", or "Closed · opens Tuesday 18:30". It handles a closed day, a split shift and a lunch-only Sunday, re-checks every minute, and runs off the same fields the hours table prints, so the two can never disagree.

It knows what the kitchen has left. Sell out of the artichokes at eight in the evening? Flip one switch on that dish. A terracotta rubber stamp lands across its price, on the home page and on the QR menu, at the same moment.

The QR menu is a real second page. /menu is what sits behind the printed code on the table: no navigation, large type, a receipt-style header carrying today's status. The guide page generates a working QR code from your own address. Print it once, and the menu changes in the CMS forever after.

One record runs the whole site. Change the phone number once and it changes in the navigation, the hero, the reserve block, the footer and the phone bar. Reservations are a switch: Direct shows Call and WhatsApp buttons and a request form, External opens your booking engine.

Then the part that isn't admin. A rotating stamp on the hero over a slow kitchen loop. "A day at Tavola", a pinned scroll section from 07:00 pasta rolled to 23:00 kitchen closes, bar doesn't. Dish photographs that follow your cursor down a menu row.
