About Pennyfold
Pennyfold is a website template for restaurants, dining rooms, and bistros.
Almost every restaurant template is a slideshow of food photography with a PDF menu somewhere near the bottom. Pennyfold does the opposite. The menu is the second thing on the page, set as a menu — courses, dishes, a line underneath, a price on the right — because that is what people came to read. The opening hours are a table, not a sentence. The set lunch has its own band across the page. Nothing important is behind a download.
What is included
A home page in seven sections: opening, the menu, the set lunch, nights, the room, visit, and a booking request.
One CMS collection for the evenings that are not ordinary service — supper clubs, wine nights, the chef's table. Each entry carries a date label, a line, the number of seats, a price, and a body, and generates its own detail page automatically.
A menu built as plain rows so a new dish is a duplicated row, not a redesign. A three-column opening-hours table. A booking form with party size and sitting, built as a real form with a submit button that changes state on success.
Three breakpoints, light and dark, and a design system of 12 colour tokens and 15 text styles.
Nothing to license
Every visual is native Framer — type, rule, and colour. There is no stock photography to swap out and nothing to attribute, so the template you preview is the template you can publish. Changing the claret token rebrands the entire site.
