About Tidewell
Tidewell is a calm, editorial website template for therapists, counselors and small private practices. It is built to answer the questions a new client has before booking: is this the right person, how does it work, and what does it cost.
What is included
A breathing tide behind the hero, built in three.js: a wireframe water surface whose swell rises for four seconds and settles for six, the slow-exhale rhythm many clients practise. It tilts with the pointer and sinks as the page scrolls, loads on the first gesture so the page paints first, and switches itself off for visitors who prefer reduced motion. Line color, horizon color, opacity, swell and breath length are properties
Motion with a purpose: sections fade up as they enter, cards and buttons lift on hover, the two photos scroll slower than their copy
Home page with hero, client concerns, approach and services, testimonial, first-steps process, fees and insurance, about, FAQ and booking sections
A services page with one detailed block per service (who it is for, how a session goes, format, length and fee); the four service cards on the home page link straight to their block
Clear fees table with a sliding-scale and superbill note, ready for out-of-network practices
Booking call to action you can point at Calendly, Cal.com, SimplePractice or any scheduler
Crisis line note in the footer
Responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and phone
Named text styles and a small color palette, so changing the brand takes minutes
Serif headings in Newsreader with Public Sans for body text
Who it is for
Licensed therapists, marriage and family therapists, counselors, psychologists, coaches and group practices offering in-person or telehealth sessions.
All copy and photos are placeholders. Replace them with your own details, license number and booking link before publishing.
