About Uncharted
Uncharted — Few places, in season.
A site for a travel studio that runs a handful of journeys a year, not a catalogue. Six destinations, each with its season, a named host and a route you can read end to end before you commit. Written for the traveller who has already decided they want something quieter, and now wants to know exactly what they are buying.
Place, reason, route, host. The destination page follows the order a traveller actually asks questions in, so the booking bar arrives after the trip has answered them rather than before. You bring the journeys and the photography. Uncharted is the site around them, drawn on three breakpoints and built to be edited rather than decoded.
Who is it for
Small travel studios, guided-trip operators, expedition outfits and independent guides. Anyone selling a few considered journeys instead of a search box, and anyone who would rather their site read like a field journal than a booking engine.
What you get
Ten responsive pages — drawn at 1440, 810 and 390
Three CMS collections — Destinations, Journal and Categories, filled with real writing rather than placeholder
An eleven-section destination page — from the first horizon to the host who meets you
Sixteen code components written for this template alone — fly-through, booking bar, reading gauge, route line, scroll-lit type, scroll-driven partner rail, custom card cursor
Twenty-three native components — every hover state built as a variant, no loose layers
Eight colour styles, fourteen text styles — all named, so one change moves the whole site
Fraunces, Switzer and Fragment Mono — paired and set
An instructions page on the canvas — notes placed where you would otherwise get stuck
Free. No licence tier, no upsell, no better version behind a paywall.
