About Usucha
Usucha is a calm, editorial Framer template for coffee shops, matcha bars, cafés and small drinks brands that want a site as considered as the cups they pour.
The home page opens on a full-width video of cold foam going onto iced espresso, with the headline appearing letter by letter beneath it. From there it moves through a sideways-scrolling row of this week's drinks, two split features with slow parallax photos, four category tiles, a large scrolling marquee, the four steps of how a drink is built, a visit block with hours and directions, reviews from regulars and the latest journal posts. Headings are set in tracked uppercase on a soft oat background, so the whole site feels like a well-printed menu.
The menu and the journal both run on the CMS. Every drink gets its own page with its base, price, tasting notes, a short story and a three-image gallery, plus a link to the next drink. Every journal post gets a full article page. The Story page tells the café's origin, sourcing and kind words, and the Visit page has hours, location and a form for events, catering and wholesale. It's all built with native Framer features, so swapping the video, photos, colours and copy takes minutes, not code.
