VELD Template

VELD is a template for people who sell journeys, not packages: small-group tour operators, guide collectives, retreat hosts and travel writers who lead their own trips.

What's inside

Home with a photo hero, a "Why" statement with inline stats, the journey grid, a scroll-driven places drum, how it works, authors, a stacked "Where we stay" section, departures, a ticker of traveller quotes, private journeys and an FAQ.

Journeys catalogue with filters by region, season and length, mirrored to the URL, with a reset and an empty state.

Journey page (CMS): key facts, an interview-style introduction with the author, day-by-day itinerary, what's included, departures and a request form that already knows which journey you're asking about.

Author page (CMS), Field notes with a featured post, category tabs and a rich-text article template, plus Contact, 404, Privacy and Terms on one shared layout with a sticky navigation and a mobile menu.

Built properly

4 linked CMS collections: Journeys, Authors, Field Notes, Departures.

13 components with editable properties, so you change content in the right-hand panel, not in the layers.

Shared colour tokens and 20 text styles: swap the palette once and the whole site follows.

Desktop, tablet and phone breakpoints on every page, checked at 320–1920 px.

One H1 per page, titles, descriptions and social images set, alt text on every image.

One-time appear animations, word-by-word titles, a native ticker and a scroll-stacking section.

Inter only, no font licences to buy.

Good to know

Forms are native Framer Forms; submissions need a paid Framer plan. All copy, dates, prices and people are demonstration content; photographs are AI-generated placeholders. The only code component is the places drum, included in the project.
