About Weftra
Weftra is a free Framer portfolio template drawn in pixel art, where scrolling down the page is a dive from the sunny surface to the bottom of the ocean. It is built for illustrators, pixel artists, game artists, designers and developers who want a portfolio people remember.
The home page opens on a pixel sky with a boat on the waterline and your name in a big glitch title. Scroll down and the water gets darker, zone by zone: the Sunlight zone for your intro, the Twilight zone for selected work, the Midnight zone for your playground, the Abyss for your experience and the Trench for contact. A depth gauge in the margin counts the metres as you scroll, and each zone on it is a button that jumps to that section.
Almost everything responds to the visitor. Fish scatter from the cursor, jellyfish sparkle when clicked and the portrait porthole flips to show fun facts. The playground tiles sit in the dark under an anglerfish whose light follows the cursor, and each tile opens in a pixel lightbox you can step through with the arrow keys. Service rows ping a sonar screen, experience rows open into detail and testimonials sit in bottles you uncork. At the bottom, a treasure chest opens to reveal your email with a copy button.
Projects, playground pieces, experience and testimonials all live in the Framer CMS, and every project gets its own page with a cover, role, client, year and a rich-text story. The contact page has a working form with a five-state submit button. All the art is drawn in code or uploaded as images, so you can swap the boat, creatures and portrait, change the colours and rename the zones from component controls. There is no WebGL, the animations pause when off screen and the whole site respects reduced motion.
Pages: Home, Work, Project, About, Playground, Contact, Legal, Edit Me and 404, each designed for desktop, tablet and phone.
