Exporting Assets

You can export layers as image assets.

On Web

Exporting image assets from Framer’s web version is currently still under development. Until this feature lands, you can use the Desktop App to export your images. You can download your web project by opening the project and going to the top left menu and selecting File > Download. You can open this file in the Framer Desktop app which will allow you to export your assets in multiple formats.

On Desktop

To export a selected layer as an image from the desktop app, click the Handoff button in the Toolbar, then under the Assets heading, select your desired scale, suffix, and format, then click Export to save the images. You can choose to export your assets in the following ways:

  • File type: PNG, JPG, WEBP, PDF
  • Resolutions: 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x

To learn more about Framer's handoff features, see our article on Handoff Mode.
