👀 Sneak peek!
I’m currently working on a Framer plugin that lets you animate 3D models seamlessly as a scroll component. No complex code, just smooth 3D storytelling.
This is a first look at the UI in development.
What features would you love to see in this? 👇
As a designer, I like to sketch ideas straight out of my head. For years, Excalidraw has been my go-to — quick wireframes, flows, rough layouts, no polish required.
With the new Framer Agent, I kept asking myself: why wireframe somewhere else, screenshot it, and paste it back? Why not sketch directly in Framer and hand it to the agent?
So I built Draw — a plugin that brings Excalidraw into Framer.
My workflow:
Open Draw and wireframe a page (hero, sections, CTAs, whatever is in my head)
Insert it on the canvas or paste it onto a new design page
Send it to the Framer Agent and let it build a real page from the sketch
It's v1, but it's working pretty solid for me already — especially for landing page concepts, early prototyping, and exploring layout ideas before committing to pixels.
A few benefits: • Import Color Styles — get project colors directly inside your drawing • Insert to Canvas — PNG export in one click • SVG support — put your drawings on the Framer canvas as vectors • Paste in Design Page — create a new page from a sketch in seconds • Dark mode sync — matches your Framer theme
If you like sketching before you design, give it a try and leave some feedback. I'd love to know what works, what breaks, and what you'd want in the next version.
