The file AI coding tools read before they touch your code...
I design and code enough to ship.

AI can't match a design system it can't see. Write a SKILL. md extracted from your actual code. Extract, don't aspire: document what the code does, not what you wish it did.
Constraints beat descriptions, every time.

New hero on http://kobbe.io. Do you see the story behind it?
It's a quay in the Åland Islands, where Kobbe is made.
Nothing fancy, just people passing by.
But look closer: every tiny figure is doing analytics.
Someone's counting.
Someone's saying no to biscuits.
Someone's keeping a robot out.
Someone's weighing the day's catch.
Second one of the Chrome extensions I built for myself:
Shotseek.
- Retina screenshots of any page.
- Full page, selection, or a single element.
- No scrollbars, no duplicated sticky headers.
And my favorite quirk:
It can wrap any shot in a macOS window frame with the corner radius and shadow, so it looks like you ⇧⌘5'd a native app instead of screenshotting a browser tab, useless, but it's there hehe
For Figma:
Figma quietly downscales anything over 4096px, which ruins long full-page shots. Shotseek slices them into 4096px tiles and hands you a ZIP, so you drop them in and everything stays sharp.
Free on the Chrome Web Store.

A year ago the most common support question I got was:
"I asked Cursor to add a page and it looks nothing like the rest of the theme."
The AI wasn't broken. It just had no idea what it was looking at.
So every Lexington theme now ships with an AGENTS .md.
Here's what goes in it and why it changed how people customize their themes:

Your site is fast on your MacBook, on fiber, in the office, but it's not fast in Thailand on a mid-range Android.
https://Kobbe.io shows you the second one on the dedicate performance page.

Today I am adding pictures to https://kobbe.io's changelog.
You can finally see what I shipped instead of reading three paragraphs.
Bot filtering, Raycast, revenue exclusions, events usage in the sidebar.
The UI, not just the write-up...
Ælen.

Small for Kobbe.io today: you can now search your events.
I kept losing the one I wanted in the list, I can just image other customers with more events than I have..., so the Events card got a search box, and the Activity log got a picker to filter by page or by event name depending on the tab you're on
ZeroIndex.

I made myself a few Chrome extensions out of frustration with the existing ones, which are either buggy or half-baked.
Today I'm showing you Typeseek.
Free on the Chrome Web Store.
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/typeseek/gjkenfcokkppegeamflaggmojlkjcdlg
Hover any text, see the real font, copy the CSS, see where each font is used on the page. Move and pin the tooltip and panel anywhere.
New in Kobbe.io: your monthly total events meter now lives in the sidebar.
Always there, turns amber at 80%, red at the cap, and tells you outright if collection paused.
Tap it to open usage settings, or switch it off if you'd rather not see it.
