I'm trading web updates for wares with a ceramicist friend of mine who built her site in wix. I haven't used wix since I switched to framer a few years ago but holy crap I did not realize what an incredible decision that switch was. I'm pulling my hair out trying to make updates to this site. I mean... they don't even have basic UI elements like FAQ accordions available. It's crazy.

I know that I'm in the minority here being against the use of generative AI and avoiding it wherever possible because it is fundamentally at odds with my ethics. I'm curious if there's anyone else here who is navigating working in tech and being anti AI?
Have you put together an AI policy or clause for contracts to protect your copyright and make sure that clients don't run your creative work through LLMs?

I’ve had quite the few days. I’d planned to go to the Framer 3.0 launch event in Amsterdam but the screw holding my bike seat on broke in half mid ride earlier that evening. I jumped off and went to Swapfiets to get it replaced. Then on the way home another cyclist swerved into me and I broke my arm. Needless to say the universe had other plans for my week… but I’m excited to get back to work and dive into 3.0 next week 🤙
When designing the via website and visual identity, I knew that the image of subway doors opening needed to bring you into the story. The app is all about turning missed connections into meet cutes—re-opening sliding doors—and all the great rom com tropes. Creating a truly cinematic experience was the only choice. Suspend your disbelief, there's a rom com out there waiting for you 😇
