Grand Theft Framer is my 24 hour hackathon project: a playable third person 3D city sandbox built entirely with the new Framer 3.0 Agent features.
Walk through the city, drive a sports car, collect weapons, visit the Framer Shop and try to escape the police as your wanted level rises. I wanted to explore how far Framer could be pushed beyond websites and traditional interfaces.
Because I couldn’t wait for GTA 6.
Instead of building another landing page, I wanted to see how close I could get to creating my own playable 3D city sandbox inside Framer in just 24 hours.
The entire experience was created with the new Framer Agent features, from the 3D world and gameplay systems to the interactions, interface and visual details.
A playable third person 3D city
Character movement, sprinting and jumping
A drivable sports car with engine audio
Multiple weapons and a weapon wheel
Pedestrians, traffic and reactive NPCs
Police chases and a wanted level system
Health, armor, cash and weapon pickups
A Framer themed weapon shop
Dynamic rain, sound effects and a minimap
Framer Agents helped me build and refine the complete experience within the limited 24 hour timeframe.
They were used to create the 3D environment, gameplay logic, driving system, combat, NPC behavior, police chases, sound effects and the full HUD.
The biggest challenge was connecting all of these systems into one playable experience while keeping everything inside Framer.
Built in 24 hours with Framer 3.0 Agents.
Enter the city, explore the sandbox and see how long you can avoid getting wasted.
I appreciate every vote, like and comment. Thank you for supporting Grand Theft Framer!
