Happy Donkey Cafe is a whimsical, retro-inspired landing page I designed and built from scratch for this hackathon.
The concept is a playful cafe brand with a cheeky personality, expressive visuals, and a nostalgic look and feel designed to make people smile. I created the full brand direction, art style, copy, and landing page experience within the final few hours of the hackathon.
The site uses scroll-based interactions, CMS-powered content, and a bold visual system to bring the fictional cafe to life. My goal was to create something that felt less like a standard cafe website and more like a charming little brand world — funny, memorable, and a bit unexpected.
With more time, I’d love to expand the experience further with more menu content, animated moments, and deeper storytelling around the Happy Donkey brand.
