About a week ago I made this post talking about how three years ago I was only making Figma protypes until I found Framer. I mentioned I had to find time to bring some of my old prototypes to live and this hackathon provided such opportunity.
Introducing, The 80s — a waitlist page for a live 80s radio streaming platform brought to life with Framer Agents.
I started the entire design from screenshots of the old prototype. From there I prompted forward — first the waitlist layout, then the interconnected radio components: the tuner, the dials, and live audio visualizers, all wired together and responsive across breakpoints.
A live radio streamer
Interconnected knob and tuner
Visualizers that react based on the radio frequency
Wipe page loader component
and more
The me from three years ago will be insanely blown away that he was able to build such a thing live on the internet with no coding experience.
The current me is so happy he doesn't have to make certain mundane and repetitive changes in Framer anymore.
The most exciting part is that this only gets better from here!
