I think removing the template submission review process on Framer is a huge mistake 😐. It’s the same trap many freelance platforms fall into: prioritizing quantity over quality.
We’ve seen this happen globally—when you let anyone sell anything without any oversight, the quality just nosedives. It turns marketplaces into digital junkyards, and in the end, it’s the user’s trust that gets broken. When users stop trusting the quality of what they buy, the whole ecosystem loses its value. I really hope they rethink this; maintaining a standard is so much more important than just scaling up.
