Distribution
We don’t really talk about it a lot , while distribution is posting on X , Tikok, instagram and co
I am still really asking myself , what are the other ways to distribute
The whole new marketplace does not really help, you have to compete
A while ago @Hamza Ehsan started building his YouTube channel talking about framer templates? What if we have that
You can’t really rely on the framer community for audience , you have to seek yours
The way I am thinking about this , what are the easiest way to build an audience
1. Newsletters , give people valuable thingd and send them emails
2. Tiktok posting : post nice reel no face templates on tikok to get downloads
3. Using Reddit communities
This is something I am intended to test, I already know how to achieve this
I made some templates a long time ago
One was for my studio
Another one for an health and wellness template
The third one was for agency templates
Haven’t shared it here before, thinking of making more templates , but will share first
Working on my website
I am really proud of what has been done so far , all designed in figma and implemented in framer
Still working on it , can’t wait to show you what has been done so far

For me: working on a new portfolio on Framer, the last time i designed a new portfolio was 5 years ago, Took my time on this , it has to be the best

Maybe it’s time for all of us to become the next @Hamza Ehsan
I have followed this wonderful guy for close to 2 years now on X and I’ll tell you, he has really built a very good distribution channel of its own to sell anything
He saw this coming a long time ago, maybe the next line of the journey is to go and get a YouTube channel done for yourself , in the end distribution is really key , if you want o get your product to a lot of audience you need to first know how to distribute and also how to share good work , that’s the way to go
I saw a lot of posts today of framer experts disappointed about the new framer template marketplace open to everybody
Firstly , I think we should understand that , framer is a business entity, from the business side of things , opening the marketplace means there will be millions added per month and that means more money and more numbers, it’s more of a business decision
Secondly, Opening it up means , the community gets to decide what’s best , I guess it will be decided based on likes and rating instead of human’s biased intuition
Thirdly, it makes them compete, figma simmilarly has a marketplace of apps they share, the better factor is monetization , eg I have a figma plugin that has thousands of downloads , if it was on framer , I’ll definately be making some coffee money off that
Fourthly , it means the team has time to do other things rather than just verifying templates
Anyways it’s good win for everyone
