Project

A website redesign for 35 Below, a New Zealand architectural design studio, creating a refined, contemporary presence that better reflects its work.

Approach

Designed and built in Framer with a minimalist, photography-led approach. Features include an infinite-scrolling horizontal project gallery and CMS-managed content.

Constraints

The primary challenge was creating a gallery experience beyond Framer's native capabilities. The design required seamless infinite horizontal scrolling, CMS-connected project cards, mixed image proportions and consistent spacing throughout the loop. Framer's native functionality couldn't achieve the desired continuous horizontal gallery. A third-party code component was adapted to work with CMS content, with adjustments to card sizing, spacing and scrolling behaviour.

Result

A clean, visually driven website with a distinctive portfolio experience that extends beyond Framer's native features.
