Who is DigitalTree?

DigitalTree is a design and AI automations agency based in San Diego, California, founded in 2009. The studio builds no-code websites of any complexity (landing pages, multi-page sites, eCommerce stores) and develops AI-powered workflows and agents for startups and established companies. With 15+ Framer websites and 60+ completed UI/UX designs, DigitalTree operates at the intersection of minimalist design craft and practical automation.

Task

Design and build DigitalTree's own agency website — a portfolio-driven site that communicates the studio's dual focus on UI/UX design and AI automations.

The site needed to showcase client work across industries (venture capital, B2B, events, online media), present the agency's process and toolkit, and drive inbound leads.

Most importantly, it had to serve as a live demonstration of what the studio delivers to clients: polished Framer development with purposeful animations and clean, minimal UI.

Solution

• Responsive Framer website with five core sections: Homepage, Portfolio, Services, About, and Contact

• Homepage positioning — "UI/UX Designers. Framer Experts. Your fractional growth marketing team." — leading into a portfolio carousel with video previews for each client project

• Interactive 5-week project timeline walking visitors through the agency's delivery process

• Toolkit section linking to each platform used: Framer, Figma, Notion, Trello, Shopify, Google Docs, Airtable, Keynote

• Rotating client testimonials block featuring quotes from Graphene Ventures, Coat Zone, and ExactFarming

• Persistent CTA footer driving visitors to the contact page

• Built entirely no-code in Framer, making the site itself the proof of concept: minimal, fast, animation-driven, and CMS-ready
