About Elelog
Elelog Studio — A Living Archive
Elelog Studio is my architecture and design practice in Berlin. Its website brings together over fifteen years of work across architecture, objects, interfaces and visual identities. More than a portfolio, it is a digital counterpart to the practice: an alter ego shaped by curiosity, research and the search for connections.
From Ethos to Archive
The homepage unfolds across eight numbered chapters, from [0] Ethos to [7] Explore more. Instead of leading with a project grid, it maps the thinking behind the studio — its origins, mission, method, collaborators and disciplines — before opening into the work.
A restrained visual language gives typography, spacing and imagery room to establish their own rhythm. The structure creates clarity across different fields without reducing them to a single category. A live clock, current date and coordinates of home add a personal layer to the interface.
Design & Development
Designed and built from scratch in Framer, the site combines a structured studio homepage with the Log, a CMS-driven project archive. Each project has its own detail page and metadata, allowing visitors to filter by year, type and discipline, and sort entries. An Awarded Logs carousel highlights recognised competition and research projects, while a ten-principle method section and a discipline-based service overview make the studio’s thinking tangible.
The build includes responsive layouts, interactive elements, page metadata and social sharing previews. The CMS structure allows new projects to be added as the practice evolves.
A Framework for What Comes Next
The result is a digital identity and working archive in one place. Distinct disciplines meet within a shared framework, making connections between projects visible. The Log traces how ideas develop, change shape and find new meaning over time.
