About Street2Seat

Localization, Technical SEO & UX Modifications

Street2Seat helps restaurants in high-footfall streets and tourist areas turn passers-by into guests. The site already existed in Framer but wasn’t ready to bring in clients: it was English-only, had locale and domain issues, and offered no clear way for venue owners to get in touch.

What I did

  • Localization: restructured the site into Greek (default) and English. I cleaned up duplicate locales, translated all content, and used Framer’s Locale variable to show different videos per language.

  • Technical SEO: wrote titles and meta descriptions per page and language, cleaned up the semantic HTML structure, checked hreflang and canonical tags, and set up the sitemap and Search Console.

  • Lead generation: built a qualification form that captures venue size, location, nearby competition and the owner’s main challenge, so every enquiry arrives ready for a first conversation.

  • Privacy & analytics: wrote a bilingual GDPR privacy policy and connected Google Analytics 4 through the cookie banner with Consent Mode, so no analytics cookies are set without consent.

  • Polish: fixed responsiveness on tablet and mobile, and added a new footer, a language selector and the domain connection.

Result: a fast, bilingual site that ranks for the right searches in both languages, respects visitor privacy and turns visits into qualified consultation requests.
