About The Tempest Two

Two friends who test limits for a living

Tom and James have spent more than ten years rowing oceans, climbing mountains and crossing deserts. Today they turn what they learned about pressure into keynotes, leadership programmes and offsites for companies like Microsoft, Nike, Gymshark and Airbnb.

Adventure stories, corporate buyers

Their stories are what people remember, but the person booking them is usually an HR or learning lead who has to justify the budget. The site had to keep the sense of adventure and still answer the practical questions a company asks before booking a speaker. Nobody needs to row the Atlantic to get the point, but the homepage should make them feel they almost did.

Giving each offer its own space

I designed and built the site in Framer. Keynotes, leadership programmes and offsites each have their own page, so a company planning a conference and one planning a team retreat land on the part written for them.

The adventures have a section of their own, separate from the services, where the stories can be as big as they need to be. Case studies and client testimonials sit closer to the booking forms, where a buyer needs reassurance most, and every page ends with a clear way to get in touch.

What they have now

A site that sells the adventure and the business case together, built to turn a good story into a booked date.

What the client said

"Domenico was a pleasure to work with. Incredibly efficient, proactive & professional throughout. He has taken our website from being good, to being best-in-class."
