Is it fun? No. Is it necessary? Absolutely.
I didn't know some sites could actually be at risk of lawsuits if they are not up to minimum accessibility standards until recently.
Not only are accessible sites good for legal protection, they also inherently improve UX, SEO, and AEO performance due to the proper structuring of the HTML that is required.
Accessibility audits are also one of the best use cases for AI agents that I found so far. They're perfect to handle tedious work like this.
