Framer 3.0 has sparked a lot of discussion in the creator community.
Some successful creators who were earning well and had top-performing templates are concerned about how AI and the new marketplace changes might impact the ecosystem.
Interestingly, my journey started right in the middle of this transition.
My very first template was sitting in the approval queue. Before it could even get reviewed, Framer 3.0 arrived, and suddenly my template went live without the traditional approval process.
Now I'm genuinely curious:
Was the old approval-based system better for maintaining quality and trust?
Or is the new open publishing model better for giving creators faster access to the marketplace?
As a new creator, I'm excited about the opportunities but also interested in hearing different perspectives from experienced template sellers.
What do you think?
