I’ve seen many @Framer creators say the Marketplace is dead.
Some have launched 5 to 10 templates and still haven't made a sale.
I get the frustration. But I wanted to share my experience.
I launched my first and only template, LUNARCH, on July 23.
In the last 5 days, it received 2 sales at $199.
I’m not saying I’ve figured out the Marketplace. These are just my thoughts.
AI Agents are making simple websites easier to build and replicate. Smooth scrolls, blur effects, animations, and nice sections are no longer enough.
I think the opportunity is in building templates that solve bigger problems.
LUNARCH was built after speaking with architecture studios and interior designers about how they manage projects and scale their websites.
The goal wasn't just to make it look good.
It includes dynamic CMS systems, reusable components, clear structure, conversion touchpoints, and SEO + AEO considerations.
A design can be replicated.
A thoughtful system built around a real use case is harder to copy.
Maybe the Marketplace isn't dead.
Maybe buyers are becoming more selective.
