I spent way too much time on this template trying to make it feel unique, and honestly, I still think it’s one of my best creations.

But somehow, the results have been underwhelming.

I’ve been brainstorming possible reasons, and one conclusion I keep coming back to is: maybe it’s too hard for the end user to edit/customize.

A lot of times designers focus so much on making something visually unique that we accidentally make it harder for non-designers to actually use.
