The new community changes with Framer 3.0 are both scary and little intimidating.
To celebrate the launch of Framer 3.0 I have decided to challenge myself to 30 days of public building as a Framer Creator.
I was a bit humbled with Season 2 of the Framer challenge, currently I'm only at 1% of my goal. However the ~$35 of revenue is all from components made last October! So time to lock back in and start the grind.
For the next 30 days, I'll be sharing daily progress as I build new templates and components, while figuring out what these Framer 3.0 changes mean for creators like me.
Currently working on:
- A MacOS inspired portfolio template
- Restaurant template
- A couple of smaller components
One thing I'm changing this time is my workflow. I tend to jump between projects, which makes finishing them much harder. So for this challenge, I'm focusing on one project at a time.
The first goal is to finish the macOS portfolio template. The elements and layout is coming together nicely. Currently building the Finder interface and working on converting everything into reusable components.
