Honestly, I’m a little disappointed.

Over the past few days, I’ve received calls from 3–4 people who were looking to get a website built. I was excited about the opportunity, but unfortunately, they decided not to work with me because I’m new, have less experience, and my rates are lower.

I completely understand their concern. Trust is hard to build when you’re just starting out.

But there’s one thing I keep thinking about: experience comes from doing the work. No one becomes experienced without someone first giving them a chance.

I practice and learn every single day to improve my skills and deliver better work. I may not have years of experience yet, but I’m committed, hardworking, willing to learn, and I genuinely care about the work I do.

So if you’re looking for someone to build or improve your website, I’d really appreciate the opportunity to prove myself. Give me one chance, and I’ll do my best to make sure you don’t regret it.

And if you’re an experienced freelancer/developer who has been through this stage, I’d genuinely appreciate your advice: How did you get your first few clients when no one trusted you yet?
